Belgium is located in Western Europe, with access to major North Sea ports. Its economy is diversified, based on industry, services and logistics. In day-to-day operations, the strongest concentration of demand is around: Antwerpia, Bruksela, Gandawa, Liège, Charleroi.
Trade is particularly connected with the following markets: Germany, Netherlands, France, United States and United Kingdom. For transport, recurring industrial and distribution flows to and from the main economic hubs are the key factor.
The currency is the euro (EUR); in the euro area since 1999; banknotes and coins since 2002. Always confirm the exchange rate before pricing freight, tolls or ancillary costs.
